The Cricket Lane Farm Equestrian Team welcomes middle school and high school equestrian athletes (grades 6-12) of all abilities. A minimum commitment of three practices per month and two horse shows per school year are required to participate. Students will also need an approved riding helmet and footwear, we have helmets you can use until you can get your own.
You don't need a horse, fancy equipment, or any prior horse experience to join our team. We do require you to have a love of horses and a desire to work hard and learn! You will have the opportunity to compete as an individual and as part of a team.
The mission of IEA (Interscholastic Equestrian Association) is to introduce students in private and public middle and secondary schools to equestrian sports, to develop understanding and appreciation of equestrian sports through organized student competitions, to provide students with organized competitive events and to provide additional equine educational opportunities. Through the IEA, students may also have the opportunity to earn scholarships towards their college education.
